1. Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and TurnNet Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“TurnNet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the TurnNet website at turnnet.network, our browser node, desktop applications, or related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Free alpha and TurnNet credits
The Service is a free alpha for testing, feedback, and early community participation. It is experimental software under active development.
- What credits are. “Credits” (including anything labeled “TNET,” balance, vault, or similar) are a promotional point tally we keep to recognize participation. You get them only by running the Service or through our referral program. You never pay for them.
- No cash value. Credits are not money, legal tender, a deposit, a security, a commodity, a cryptocurrency, or property of any kind. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, traded, gifted, pledged, or redeemed for cash or anything else, and they have no value outside the Service.
- No promise of any token or payout. We have not committed to create a token, to convert credits into anything, or to pay members. If we ever offer a rewards program members can use, it will come with its own written terms and eligibility rules, and credits may or may not count toward it. Nothing on the Service, in our community channels, or said by anyone at TurnNet is a promise otherwise.
- We can change credits. We may change how credits are earned, correct errors, remove credits gained through bugs, bots, or abuse, or reset or end the credits program at any time.
- Not an investment. Using the Service is not an investment in TurnNet Labs LLC or any project. TurnNet does not sell tokens, coins, or investment interests, and does not accept money in exchange for credits. Nothing on the Service is financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.
2A. Using your internet connection (“home checks”)
While the website is open, or the desktop app is running and its home-check switch is on, TurnNet may use part of your internet connection to run short website checks for TurnNet and its paying customers. For example: loading a public website to confirm it is reachable from a home connection, timing how long it takes, or capturing what the page looks like.
- What the websites see. These requests go out through your connection, so the websites being checked will see your public IP address, like any normal visit.
- Limits we enforce. Checks only go to public HTTPS websites. The app blocks addresses on your home network (your router, printers, cameras, other computers) and does not read your files, passwords, browsing history, or other apps. Pages checked in the desktop app run in an isolated, sandboxed window that is thrown away after each check.
- Your controls. You can pause home checks anytime from the tray menu (desktop) or by closing the tab (browser). Quitting the app stops everything. The desktop app starts with Windows by default so it can keep running; turn that off with “Start TurnNet when Windows starts” in the tray menu. It never keeps your PC awake unless you turn on “Keep PC awake.”
- Your internet plan. Some internet providers limit how a connection can be shared. You are responsible for making sure your use of the Service is allowed by your provider and any network you use (for example, a workplace or school network).
- Customer rules. Our customers must agree not to use the network for unlawful purposes. We screen and limit customer jobs, and we may block any job or customer at our discretion.
2B. SaaS products and third-party tools
TurnNet also offers separate software products (including OpenDesk, Labs Desk, View, Reach, Client Watch, and related tools). Those products may have additional terms — see Desk product terms for OpenDesk / Labs Desk billing and contact-tool rules.
Where a product includes shortcuts that open third-party apps or sites (for example phone dialer via tel:, Messages via sms:, WhatsApp click-to-chat, or Google Meet), TurnNet is providing a convenience link only. Those services are owned by their respective providers. You must comply with their terms and with applicable calling/messaging laws (including consent requirements). TurnNet is not affiliated with Google, Meta/WhatsApp, or other named providers unless we state that in writing. Product names are trademarks of their owners and are used for identification only.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract. You may not use the Service if doing so would violate applicable law or if you are barred from receiving digital services under applicable sanctions or export rules.
4. Accounts and identity
Your account is tied to an email address you control. You sign in with a one-time code we email you. Keep access to that inbox; you are responsible for activity under your account.
One person, one account. Multiple accounts, fake or disposable emails, bots, scripts, virtual machines or data-center servers used to collect credits, and self-referrals are not allowed. We may merge, suspend, or terminate such accounts and remove their credits.
Referrals. If you invite someone with your referral link and they sign up and run the Service for the required time, you and they may each receive bonus credits as described on the site. Referral bonuses are credits under Section 2 (no cash value). Do not spam, post referral links where they are not welcome, or make false claims (including claims about earnings or tokens) to get sign-ups. We may change or end the referral program, cap bonuses, and reverse bonuses tied to abuse.
TurnNet never asks you to connect a crypto wallet, send cryptocurrency, or pay anything to use the free Service. Anyone asking you to do so in TurnNet’s name is not us.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attack, scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service or our infrastructure
- Manipulate balances, heartbeats, registrations, or telemetry through bots, scripts, spoofing, or exploits
- Access or attempt to access other users’ data without authorization
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity
- Misrepresent affiliation with TurnNet Labs LLC
We may investigate abuse, revoke credits, block IPs, and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
6. Software license
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial alpha participation, subject to these Terms. We and our licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the Service, brand, and content.
Open-source components, if any, remain governed by their respective licenses.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TURNNET LABS LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF DISPLAYED BALANCES OR NETWORK DATA.
We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free software, or data persistence, and we make no promise that credits will ever have any value or be converted into anything.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TURNNET LABS LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR ALPHA CREDITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF USD $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (TYPICALLY ZERO DURING FREE ALPHA).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TurnNet Labs LLC and its members, managers, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
10. Changes and termination
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, especially for abuse, security risk, or shutdown of the alpha program.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Except where prohibited, you agree that exclusive jurisdiction for disputes relating to these Terms or the Service lies in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at legal@turnnet.network and attempt good-faith resolution for at least thirty (30) days.
12. General
If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement regarding the Service. Marketing pages, roadmaps, FAQs, and community posts are informational only and do not add promises to these Terms.
