Windows or antivirus still warns?

The installer is digitally signed by TurnNet Labs LLC. New apps can still get a first-run SmartScreen or AV prompt until Windows reputation builds — that is normal, not a virus warning.

SmartScreen: More info → Run anyway. McAfee/Norton: allow / restore the file if quarantined. Or mine in the browser with no install.

Install tips
  1. Windows (recommended): Download TurnNet-Setup-1.1.12.exe → run installer → launch from Desktop or Start Menu. Publisher should show TurnNet Labs LLC. If SmartScreen appears: More info → Run anyway. The installer closes any old TurnNet tray app so it can replace it. Sign in once, then leave it in the tray.
  2. Windows (portable): Download TurnNet-Windows-Client-1.1.12.exe → double-click, no installer needed. Use the versioned filename so you don’t launch an old copy from Downloads.
  3. One email rule: Don’t mine the same email in the browser and the app at the same time — only one credit every ~20 seconds.
  4. Linux: tar -xJf TurnNet-Linux-x64.tar.xz → run the binary inside (older build; Windows is the primary desktop path).
  5. Mac / mobile: Use the browser node — no download required for now.
